Job Duties:

·       Direct international logistics programs utilizing knowledge of incoterms, multimodal transportation and international trade administration.

·       Implement freight forwarding programs for Asia, the U.S., and Mexico using advanced knowledge of national and international transportation, and experience in freight forwarding between Asia, USA and Mexico.

·       Manage international 3pl projects, national and international last mile parcels services, bonded warehouse, fulfillment, and inventory reports.

·       Execute plans, manage a project team, prepare and manage schedules, and implement project controls.

·       Perform warehouse implementation using API integration, inventory controls, integration, and tracking management software.

·       Develop and implement cross border transportation, freight forwarding, intermodal and multimodal transportation for our commercial customers, using knowledge of the North American Free Trade Act (now the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement) Mexican Free Trade Agreements including the Europe Community and Mexico Trade Agreement, TPP, TIPAT, and Alianza Pacifico.

·       Perform capacity and transportation planning, coordinate and monitor transshipment and international shipment consolidation and align freight management and transportation in Mexico and the U.S.

·       Determine appropriate testing requirements for qualification of our processes of import and export.

·       Monitor, support, and improve import and export processes using knowledge of import goods documentation, including commercial invoice, certificate of and date of origin, volume and cost certificates, Mexican import procedures, including informal entry T1 imports, formal entry, and minimis, NOM (Normas Oficiales Mexicanas), customs duties and taxes, and Cofepris certifications.

·       Improve processes associated with logistical administration, pricing, and cost controls using knowledge of pricing models and data organization.

·       Coordinate branch Offices and employee teams in the Middle West Zone (California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Colorado, Wyoming and Washington) utilizing experience in management and organizing large groups of team members in different states.

·       Develop and control annual budget including costs, expenditures and forecasts, and international experience communicating with co-workers, vendors and customers around the world.

·       Assist in the negotiation of agreements for commercial accounts and keep records of sales utilizing an understanding of contract management, and ability to define and manage the scope, ability to prepare fee estimates, and executions plans.

 

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or closely related degree.

 

Experience Required: 5 years’ experience as a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager.

 

Special Requirements:

Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in:

 

·       Capacity and transportation planning, transshipment and international shipment consolidation.

·       Managing projects of international 3pl and warehouse services national and international last mile parcels, and bonded warehouses.

·       Executing plans, managing a project team, preparing and managing schedules, and implementing project controls.

·       Performing warehouse implementation using API integration, inventory controls, integration, and tracking management software.

·       Incoterms, multimodal transportation and international trade administration.

·       The North American Free Trade Act (now the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement) , Mexican Free Trade Agreements including the Europe Community and Mexico Trade Agreement, TPP, TIPAT,  and Alianza Pacifico.

·       Import goods documentation, including commercial invoice, certificate of and date of origin, volume and cost certificates, Mexican import procedures, including informal entry T1 imports, formal entry, and minimis, NOM (Normas Oficiales Mexicanas), customs duties and taxes, and Cofepris certifications.

·       In developing pricing models and performing data organization.

·       The management and organization of large groups of team members in different states, and international experience communicating with co-workers, vendors and customers around the world.

·       Contract management, defining and managing the scope, and the preparation of fee estimates.

·       Participating in negotiation agreements for commercial accounts.

 

Travel Requirements:  Domestic travel up to three (3) times per months for up to 3 days per trip. Travel to Mexico up to two (2)  times a months for up to four (4) days per trip.

 

Work Hours:  Full time, 40 hours/week.  Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 pm.
